Key Pair

Intermediate

A key pair in crypto consists of a public key (used to receive funds) and a private key (kept in secrecy, used to sign and access transactions). Together, they enable secure communication on networks and form the foundation of cryptographic security in blockchain systems. Losing the private key results in permanent loss of access to funds.
